- Besides family and friends, covering sports is what I care about most. I enjoy the competition of individual sports as much as the beauty of a complete team. I am constantly amazed by the abilities of today's pure athletes, but never overlook the footprints of prior generations. I am a New York sports fan that loves Dustin Pedroia, Terry Francona and the Boston Celtics resurgence these last few years. I would take Pedroia and stick him on third over A-Rod in a heartbeat. I hate Kevin Youkilis. I enjoy fantasy sports, but don't stop rooting for my team if match-ups overlap. I love boxing, and don't care much for MMA. I love the NBA. It is truly entering a golden area. I love how the NFL pushes teams, while the NBA pushes faces. Both work so well for the respective leagues. I am sad for baseball. However, the Yankees almost resemble their championship forms of years past. Don't tell anyone, but I am falling in love with soccer. Sports add spice to my life and to many others. All I want to do is discuss interesting topics and create conversation.
